Welcome to my F-STOPS newsletter...

Lots of stuff has been going on in the studio. Actors, singers, writers, musicians have been showing up and we’ve been having not only a fun time working together, but the photos from the sessions are looking great. Take a look at the Head Shots section and see some new faces there.

During 2007 I was involved in a group show in Milford, Pennsylvania where I did an installation of 6 photos I took on some of my travels and quiet studies just observing the world. And what an exciting travel time I had last year. It was terrific being the official photographer again for the International Society of Bassists at their 2007 Convention in Oklahoma City. I was at several jazz festivals and jazz 'parties', and made visits to jazz clubs and concerts where there are truly special opportunities to not only hear great musicians but capture great visual moments at the same time. After reviewing some of the work I did in 2007, I feel honored that photos from my cameras appear on several new CDs. The front and back covers of Anne Phillips' "Ballet Time", Bill Mays' Inventions Trio CD "Fantasy", Ronny Whyte's "By Myself", Dena DeRose and Marvin Stamm's "Nearness of Two", "Beyond The Red Door" by Bud Shank and Bill Mays, and the latest by Scott Whitfield and Ginger Berglund called "Dreamsville". Check out these recordings - they're all terrific.

In any case, remember to call me for headshots, CD covers (look for upcoming additions in the CD-Covers section), live concerts, and art photographs. I have so many more images than I can put on this website, and invite you to call for an appointment to see my portfolio.
